The streets of Asheville come alive during this community event where over 180 galleries open their doors to show off the works of local artisans. Browse contemporary art and handmade crafts as you stroll from studio to studio. It's the perfect opportunity to buy a gift for that special someone or get a jump on holiday present buying before the rush at the malls. The galleries are located throughout 19 historic buildings along the French Broad River in the River Arts District, and many studios offer interactive demonstrations and activities for all ages.

It's the perfect way to spend a weekend day exploring the charming streets of Asheville, North Carolina. Stop in one of the cafes or restaurants for a bit to eat or just take in the historic architecture of this beautiful city nestled in the Blue Mountains. There is plenty of free parking available and a trolley is ready to shuttle visitors back and forth between the galleries. It all takes place on November 9 and 10 from 10 am to 6 pm, and the event is free and open to everyone! This fun event only takes place twice a year, so mark down the dates on your calendar and don't miss this day of culture and entertainment.
